Meet Deborah

MY STORY

I did not come to this work purely through training. I came to it through my own skin.

I live with Rosacea, so I know what it feels like to try treatment after treatment and still not find lasting answers. I know the self-consciousness, the unpredictability and the quiet exhaustion of managing a condition that does not respond the way it should. When clients describe that experience to me, I am not just listening professionally. I understand it personally.

That experience shaped the way I work today. It is why I have never been satisfied with the standard beauty narratives towards skin and why I keep pushing deeper into the science of skin.

WHAT I BELIEVE

What frustrates me about the beauty industry is the tendency to aggressively correct the skin with no real consideration for how it functions or what is driving the concern. Stripping and over-treating compromised skin does not resolve anything. It is more likely to compound the problem, with these clients ending up more sensitised and more confused than when they started.

There is a better way, which begins with listening to what the skin is trying to tell us.

WHY MY WORK MATTERS

Results are important, and I take them seriously, but the moment my clients stop dreading their reflection and start feeling confident in their own skin, is what this work is really about for me.

Short-term improvements are not enough. I want to create change that genuinely lasts, and that commitment is what keeps me learning, growing and continually pushing to understand more.

QUALIFICATIONS & RECOGNITION

I hold a CIBTAC Level 4 qualification in skin health and I am an I.A.C. certified Corneotherapist. I have undertaken additional training in nutrition and functional wellness to deepen my understanding of the internal factors that drive skin behaviour.

Corneotherapy drew me in because at its core, it considers how skin actually works. It respects the skin's natural physiology, supports the barrier and never forces a result at the skin's expense. When you witness the consequences and limitations of aggressive approaches on a daily basis, Corneotherapy makes absolute sense.

My thirst for knowledge will never diminish because every layer of understanding I add means I can help my clients more precisely and more effectively.

My work has led to industry recognition, with two respected awards. In 2025 I was privileged to receive ‘Best Acne Transformation’ at the Best Skincare Awards and the Prologic Skincare Case Study Award. Both reflect real outcomes for real people with complex, long-standing concerns and both remind me why the way I work is so valuable.

MY SPECIALISM

I specialise in compromised skin. There are many skin conditions that experience compromise, such as acne, rosacea, eczema, dermatitis and pigmentation. These conditions more often, than not, share the same underlying patterns: barrier disruption, chronic inflammation, sensitivity and internal imbalance.

Understanding those patterns is what shapes every consultation and every plan I put together.

If your skin has been struggling and you have not yet found lasting answers, I would love to help you.

I look forward to working with you soon.
